On Tuesday May 7th 2024, the DCE of Biakoye District Assembly presented to Nkonya Senior High School twenty-five (25) individual streetllght bulbs to be fixed in the school, especially in unlit areas of the school.
Speaking on why the donation was necessary, she told all gathered therein that, dark areas of their campus breed fear and low confidence to go about their duties when it is dark. she therefore had to respond immediately to the request of street bulbs by the new headmaster of the school, Mr. Moses Ansah Sasraku.
There are no two ways about it that lightning of the campus will go a long way to enhance teaching and learning. Having listened to the soul inspiring and melodious tunes from the school choir, she applauded them for having such a great choir.
The headmaster of the school on behalf of management thanked her and also showed appreciation to her for the recent coconut seedlings allocated to the school. The hybrid coconut which has a maturity scope of three years will beautify the campus, create some funds for the school by commercializing it and also serve as an additional nutritional value for the students.
